1887 PCGS MS65+ CAC TONED MORGAN DOLLAR

This 1887 PCGS MS65+ CAC Toned Morgan Dollar is stunning!  The obverse is absolutely flashy, displaying vivid crescent toning with brilliant shades of emerald, magenta, gold, cobalt blue, and violet cascading across Liberty’s portrait. Beneath the spectacular color lies booming cartwheel luster and ultra-smooth, pristine surfaces that elevate this coin well above the typical MS65+ example.   The reverse remains brilliant and original with frosty white luster, creating a beautiful contrast that highlights the dramatic obverse toning.  I call this one the 8 o’clock sunset!
